With a November, 2005 debut, the musical has risen to the top of Broadway's success, winning four Tony Awards in 2006, including Best Musical. Now on a major national tour, the musical has a following similar to that of the band it centers on. The musical centers on Frankie Valli and the group's rise to fame, and all their trials along the way. This is intertwined with concert-like performances of the bands' hits.

Starting at the bottom of the ladder in Newark, New Jersey, these four blue-collar kids made it to the top of their game. The patient story-telling of the musical is perhaps one of the things that made it most successful. Some of the songs sung during the production include: Earth Angel, Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, and My Boyfriend's Back, Oh What A Night and Can't Take My Eyes Off You. The musical is directed by Des McAnuff, and music is by Bob Gaudio (and the Four Seasons, of course).
